So if I didn’t have insurance, that cat attack would have cost me $1,040.
$49 for an injection that I never received. I assume some of these supplies are the stitches they never gave me after they never gave me that injection.
Also, I was given 2 vicodin for the pain. They’ve managed to turn that into 3 different drugs somehow - $44.50, $76.75 and $38. I’d sure hope $160 could buy more than 2 pills.
I know healthcare in this country is out of whack, but fucking christ.

Do YOU ever have this feeling?
Several minutes after we met I was conscious of being below par.
“Oh damn,” I thought. “I am going to be boring and there’s no reason and no way to stop it. My affect is boring. I will probably not say a single interesting thing this whole night. The best I can do is lose myself in listening and hope that no one notices.”
Yes. It’s when I’ll use things like laser pointers, postits, smiles and affectionate touches just to lighten things up. All in fun and I try no to drink too much.

New Zealand couple is on the run after a bank made a mistake and deposited $10 million to their account instead of $10,000. The couple managed to withdraw some of the money before the error was discovered.
